"She woke up went to her mirror
And started getting ready for the day.
She tried to forget about what was going on....
But sometimes it’s too hard
And she started crying"


This was originally going to be a black and white picture of a woman putting her makeup. But those markers looked pretty tempting... and one thing led to another...
I got the colors and stars and what not form several different inspirations... like Tamm’ys drawing [link]

I got the "feel" and theme from something I’m going through right now. Even though I've been pretty down lately, I still get up and get myself ready for the day.

Nice to know some of the new ppl like my work. IDK if you looked at my gallery but i usually work with black and white, so this was pretty new for me.

Also, you have pretty good start going *2thumbsup*... and i love the colors you use as well. just make sure you keep it up. DA is a great place to learn more and gain skills and all that jazz.... so if you like art you'll love DA.

Ooh! Very cool. I like all the colors- I don't it would be quite as eye catching without them. Very nice work. I particularly like her lips- they look really dark and shiny.
